As London Taekwondo's head instructor, Mr Leahy has been training and competing in the Korean national sport and military self defence system for over 17 years. His passion for Taekwondo led him to start up his London based schools in 1993, where since, he has taught many students how to defend themselves, improve their fitness and increase their confidence.

He was former National Taekwondo Champion for several years, winning medals in all disciplines (patterns, sparring and destruction). One of his greatest achievements came when he won the 1997 GDF National Freestyle Martial Arts Championships. He took gold in both Black belt points and continuous heavyweight sparring, fighting against many styles from kickboxing to kung fu.

Having spent over 15 years as a professional personal trainer and sports coach, Mr Leahy uses his vast experience to always find the correct and most efficient ways to train his students. This knowledge ensures his students are warming up correctly to avoid injuries and using the most explosive strength and endurance exercises to develop their fitness levels.

His classes are always highly motivating and open to all who wish to learn Taekwondo.
